NR AES fiber blankets are made from long strand spun, fine low bio-persistence (LBP) fibers that have a reduced shot content. This results in a flexible needled product characterized by high strength and excellent thermal properties, capable of withstanding temperatures as high as 2200°F (1200°C). Additionally, these blankets provide lower thermal conductivity, generate less dust, and minimize the risk of irritation. Bio-solubility is a key feature, as it means the fibers, should they be inhaled, are more readily cleared from the body, offering a safer alternative to traditional refractory ceramic fibers in certain applications
High Temperature Resistance: Capable of withstanding elevated temperatures, making them suitable for demanding industrial settings.
Bio-solubility: Engineered for enhanced solubility in physiological fluids, improving safety during handling and use.
Low Thermal Conductivity: Provides excellent insulation, reducing heat loss and improving energy efficiency.
Flexibility and Ease of Installation: The blanket form allows for adaptable installation in various shapes and sizes.
